Stay in carefully selected mid-range lodges and safari camps throughout Kenya and Uganda, offering comfortable en-suite rooms, quality beds, hot showers, dining facilities and scenic surroundings. Accommodation is conveniently located near national parks and trekking areas, ensuring easy access to daily activities. Full-board meals are provided during the safari, with swimming pools and other facilities available at selected properties.

Special Requirements:

  • Valid passport and required Kenya & Uganda visas.

  • Yellow Fever vaccination certificate.

  • Travel insurance covering medical emergencies and evacuation.

  • Gorilla trekking requires reasonable fitness and comfortable hiking shoes.

  • Lightweight clothing, rain jacket, hat, sunscreen and insect repellent.

  • Binoculars and camera recommended.

  • Inform Wookar Adventures of any dietary requirements or special needs in advance.

  • 30% deposit required to confirm the booking; balance payable 30 days before arrival.

  • Gorilla trekking permits are subject to availability and are non-refundable once purchased.

  • Accommodation and services are subject to availability; alternatives of similar standard may be offered.

  • Valid passports, visas and required travel documents are the traveller’s responsibility.

  • Cancellation and amendment charges apply according to supplier policies.

  • Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.

  • Any additional costs arising from itinerary changes are payable by the client.

Cancellation Policy

  • 60+ days before arrival: 10% cancellation fee.

  • 30–59 days before arrival: 30% cancellation fee.

  • 15–29 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee.

  • 7–14 days before arrival: 75% cancellation fee.

  • Less than 7 days / no-show: 100% cancellation fee.

  • Gorilla trekking permits: Non-refundable once purchased.

  • Refunds are subject to the cancellation policies of individual hotels, lodges and service providers.
