Accommodation includes a comfortable hotel stay in Arusha and basic mountain lodging during the cycling adventure. Guests stay at Kilema Camp in tents and at Horombo Hut in shared mountain hut accommodation. Facilities on the mountain are simple and practical, with colder conditions at higher elevations. The tour ends with an overnight at Tulia Hotel & Spa in Arusha.
Special Requirements:
Participants should be in good physical condition and have previous mountain biking experience, including confidence riding on steep, rocky, and uneven terrain. High-altitude cycling and hiking are physically demanding, and some sections require pushing or carrying the bike. Guests should be prepared for cold temperatures, changing mountain weather, and long activity days. Proper cycling gear, warm layers, gloves, suitable footwear, and personal medications are recommended. Travelers should inform the operator in advance of any medical conditions that may affect participation.
Booking Information
Booking Terms
A non-refundable 25% deposit is required to secure the tour and begin the necessary booking processes and ground preparations. An invoice will be sent to the client together with the payment instructions.
The final balance payment of the tour booked is required to be paid not later than 20 days before the tour starts. Bookings made within 20 days prior to the arrival date should be paid in full.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation received 15 days before the tour starts: 30% Cancellation Fee will be charged.
Cancellation received 10 days before the tour starts: 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
Cancellation received within 48hrs before the tour starts: 100% Cancellation Fee will be charged
Cancellation received 30 days or more before the tour starts: No Cancellation Fees will be charged.
