How to Create Your First Safari Tour Listing

A step-by-step tutorial for creating a compelling tour listing that attracts travelers.

On this page (7 sections)

Before You Start

Gather the following information before creating your tour: tour title, description, itinerary details, pricing, inclusions and exclusions, and high-quality photos.

Step 1: Start a New Tour

Click "Create Tour" from the Tours page in your operator dashboard. You will be taken to the tour creation form.

Step 2: Basic Information

Fill in the essential details:

  • Tour title — A clear, descriptive name (e.g., "7-Day Serengeti & Ngorongoro Safari")
  • Description — A detailed overview of the experience (300-500 words recommended)
  • Tour type — Select the category (luxury, budget, family, adventure, etc.)
  • Duration — Number of days and nights
  • Countries and destinations — Where the tour takes place

Step 3: Itinerary

Add a day-by-day itinerary describing what happens on each day of the tour. Include destinations, activities, accommodation, and meals. You can also use our AI itinerary generator to create detailed day descriptions automatically.

Step 4: Pricing & Details

Set your pricing, group size limits, difficulty level, and specify what is included and excluded from the tour package.

Step 5: Photos

Upload high-quality photos that showcase the safari experience. Tours with great photos receive significantly more inquiries. We recommend at least 5-10 photos.

Step 6: Save & Submit

You can save your tour as a draft to continue editing later, or submit it for review to make it live on the platform.
