What is a Quote?

After you submit an inquiry, a tour operator may send you a detailed quote. This is a personalized proposal that includes the itinerary, pricing, inclusions, exclusions, and terms for your safari.

Reviewing a Quote

When you receive a quote, you will get an email notification with a link to view it. The quote page shows:

  • Itinerary — A day-by-day breakdown of activities and accommodations
  • Pricing — Total cost with a breakdown of what is included
  • Inclusions & Exclusions — Clearly listed so you know exactly what you are paying for
  • Terms & Conditions — Cancellation policy, payment schedule, and other important details

Accepting or Declining a Quote

After reviewing, you can:

  • Accept — Indicates you want to proceed. The operator will follow up with next steps and payment details.
  • Decline — Politely lets the operator know you are not interested. You can optionally provide a reason.

Downloading as PDF

Click the "Download PDF" button on the quote page to save a copy for your records. The PDF includes all quote details in a professionally formatted document that you can share with travel companions.

Requesting Changes

If you like the quote but want adjustments (different dates, accommodations, or activities), respond to the operator through the inquiry thread. They can send a revised quote based on your feedback.
