Why Assign Inquiries

If you have a team, assigning inquiries to specific members ensures nothing falls through the cracks. Each team member can focus on their assigned inquiries and provide timely responses.

How to Assign an Inquiry

  1. Open the inquiry you want to assign
  2. Click the "Assign" button or use the assignee dropdown
  3. Select the team member from the list
  4. The assigned member receives a notification about the new assignment

Reassigning Inquiries

To reassign an inquiry to a different team member, open the inquiry and change the assignee. The new assignee will be notified, and the previous assignee will see the inquiry removed from their assigned list.

Viewing Assigned Inquiries

Filter your inquiry list by assignee to see which inquiries belong to each team member. This helps managers track workload distribution and ensure all inquiries are being handled.

Notification Flow

When an inquiry is assigned or reassigned, the team member receives an email notification and an in-app notification. They can adjust their notification preferences in their account settings.
